My first lesson with Gerald was aimed at introducing ourselves and using adjectives to describe different jobs. Gerald was able to use the adjectives very well and applied these to talking about his own job. We also corrected some minor pronunciation errors and mistakes in the phrases he used.

Thank you for a great meeting today Gerard. Today we talked about jobs and your work. We discussed things that are important for you in a job and we explored briefly some words for describing jobs. Your language performance was very good.

the student has not encountered any particular difficulty, he was interested in lesson and he found immediatley points of contact with his language. It that helped him with the new language.

The student has used the tools on the whiteboard and the training material. He learnt the numbers up to nineteen, including pronunciation, and he read passages about asking the time and the way of saying the time in German. He used the chat option to write the current time at his place.

The lesson material was slightly below his level - no new vocabulary was discovered in the reading activities. His vocabulary is very good. I recommend that he move up to advanced level.

We've discussed with Gerald Present Simple and Present Continuous tenses, looked at the difference between two tenses, practised the topic and also talked about difference between formal and informal language. We talked about Generation Gap.
