I am a British teacher with over 30 years of experience teaching English as a foreign language. I have also been involved in examination supervision and coordination, examination preparation and marking, as well as writing material for classroom use. I am an experienced oral examiner, having worked for the University of Cambridge Local Examinations Syndicate (now Cambridge English Language Assessment) over a period of 28 years. I have been trained to examine candidates for all levels of the Cambridge examinations (YLE, KEY, PET, FCE, CAE, CPE & IELTS) and have also been employed by the PanHellenic Association of Language Schools Owners as an oral examiner for local exams. I am therefore experienced at assessing students' level of English and provide in depth training for the GBC test (Japan).
I also have experience of teaching Business English from beginner to advanced levels.
I hold a BA (hons) Economics & Social Studies degree and gained a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE teaching qualification) from Manchester University, England.
