As an English teacher, I understand that providing a variety of engaging, interactive learning experiences in every lesson is fundamental to establishing and holding student's motivation and interest in a lesson. I have a tolerant personal character. I am mindful of cultural sensitivities and maintain a professional standard at all times. I incorporate Mystery into Your Lessons, I never repeat classroom material. I have a variety of online games and classroom games to interact with you as students. I utilize technology as best I can for the class. I enjoy teaching and don’t take the class very seriously. I try to make the class as interactive as possible. I also compare the material that I teach with to the student's lives. I try and ensure that you get the most from your lesson with me, I ask questions and will always ensure that there is nothing that you do not understand, if there is I will explain the lesson content, vocabulary to you. I am very often asked: What makes a great English lesson? I believe that a focus on student talking time makes a great English lesson. In my 5 years of experience, my main focus has been on an 80/20 split. The 80% has been the students talking time and the 20% being the teachers. I set up the lesson so that I elicit information from the students to obtain the talking time. I look forward to meeting you online to learn English and have some fun with the games and lessons that I have prepared for you.
