My name is Alyssa Missmer. I live in Allentown, Pennsylvania, USA. I have been in Pennsylvania my entire life. I graduated from high school in 2010 and went directly to college. I obtained my B.A in English and a minor in Early Childhood Education in 2014. While in college I had many internships for teaching as well as English opportunities due to my writing. in 2013 I was nominated for the Elie Wiesel prize in ethics essay contest for a piece I wrote. This prompted me to create my own college course and curriculum. It was during all of these experiences I solidified what I knew- I was meant to be a teacher. I have always known I wanted to be a teacher, and I believe that shows in my teaching. I absolutely love teaching, and would truly work whenever I could. If I am not teaching, my husband and I like to take our daughter on trips to explore the outdoors.

I have a B.A in English, and a minor in Early Childhood Education. I have a TESOL Certification from International Open Academy.

Hello- My name is Alyssa and I love teaching! I went to college for English and early childhood education. During my time in college I taught in several internships. After graduation, I taught elementary level special education in a public school setting for several years. During that time I wrote my own curriculum and opened an early learning center for children 1-6 years of age. During 2020-2021 I obtained my TESOL certification and have been teaching English online ever since! I have absolutely found my passion. If I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family and our three dogs.
