I am a 31 year old native Dane, currently living in Istanbul, Turkey. I love living abroad and to see new places. My friends describe me as loving, caring, approachable and energetic. I am a very passionate and adventourous person. I love learning new things and meeting new people. When I'm not working I love to go for long walks somewhere in nature, listening to music or even go to a show, going to the gym or going climping. If the weather is bad I love to relax inside with a movie or boardgame, friends and good food. That is 'hygge'

I have a Bacelors degree in Teaching and Education from University of Southern Denmark. Through the pandemic, I have been teaching children who were homeschooled. I work as an online language teacher on various platforms, teaching danish as a second language. Many of my student are just starting to learn danish and I have been able to help them to, in a short time, to structure and understand sentences and take part in short conversations. I strive to make my lessons interactive and include authentic material. As a langauge learner myself, I understand the importance of repetition, so I always use known vocabulary with new in various sentences.
