I am a South African BEd Intermediate Phase student at the University of South Africa. I am passionate about teaching children. I love helping students reach proficiency in the English language. When I'm not in class, I love to spend my time cooking, baking or traveling with family. I have been to 5 South African Provinces and 3 African countries, I enjoy interacting with people from different backgrounds and learning about different culture. I enjoy reading English books, specially reading children's books to my son. I have been a youth leader at church since my early twenties until my late twenties. I am highly motivated by sharing skills with others and I'm committed to continual development as a teacher. I hope to see you in my class soon.

I am on my 3rd year studying BEd Intermediate Phase with the University of South Africa

Offline teaching experience: 2

Online teaching experience: 1

In January 2020 until present, I started teaching in one of the South African prestigious schools as an inter-teacher. I have been tutoring my nephews and nieces online since the covid-19 pandemic, I am also tutoring a small group of students from my community. I can plan and deliver a lesson, I also possess great communication skills. In my lessons I use Total Physical Response in conjunction with prompts, I find that it makes the lesson engaging and fun. I plan and tailor my lessons according to each student's learning needs, I believe that all students are unique. I am able to facilitate great learning experiences while allowing students to share their passions and curiosities. I am adept in aspects of activities in the four areas of language learning; speaking, reading, listening and writing
