My name is Frank van der Schuren. I am a freelance language professional and I love to help people learn our beautiful Dutch language. this is my main passion in life nowadays. Furthermore, I work as a translator. In my spare time, I also teach, not only Dutch (to migrants and refugees), but also as a certified canine instructor. I am a dog person, 100%. At home, we run a small scale dog pension, with a daily average of 10-12 dogs in and around the house. Some of my other hobbies are travel, literature, art, wines, tennis, and soccer.

My teaching experience does not only include language teaching: For starters, I have had years of teaching experience, coaching interns in a corporate environment, when I worked as a liaison for a large international globally present business travel management company (I have done this for more than 10 years). In my spare time, I also teach dog owners to raise their dogs as responsible participants in today’s society, as a certified canine instructor. And, as for relevant language teaching experience, I am currently working as a language coach, teaching Dutch to foreign students who live in the Netherlands (like migrants or refugees). I also have a lot of experience dealing with corporate clients, being a sales and account manager for more than 20 years.
