When I am not working I love nature, sport, cooking and on a winter’s evening, a good film. I love my job and spend a lot of time in lessons and preparing new materials to teach with. When I am not working travel is my main passion. Recently I enjoyed wonderful trips to Vietnam and Japan. In the future I would love to visit South America and to go back to India, where I visited as a teenager. I’m based in Bordeaux, and Iove being out and about in this city, as well as going home to Scotland as often as possible. This lifestyle allows me to get to know people from different walks of life, which is a real pleasure for me. I look forward to working with you online and share my experience in a new way.

I have over 10 years’ experience teaching English in France to adults in many different professions; from aerospace and transport, to medical and pharmaceutical industries, and also to children and teenagers. I enjoy teaching all levels of learners, from complete beginners to advanced speakers who want to perfect their English. I am a GBC trainer for Myngle. I also prepare students for Cambridge, TOEIC and BULATS exams. I am an accredited speaking examiner for Cambridge ESOL. I trained at the University of Glasgow in English Language and French. My approach is a communicative one; I want you to feel at ease speaking freely but also to perfect the details of your English and make sure you have the "language tools" to build your sentences correctly.
