I have been teaching and translating for over 10 years. I love languages, traveling and meeting people from different countries. I have travelled all over Europe and would love to go to South America and Africa. I enjoy world cinema, especially from France and Germany. I also enjoy cooking and baking for family and friends. I would love to learn some more languages and am currently working on Russian.

I studied French and German at University. During my year abroad in Germany, I worked for Berlitz teaching all levels of English. As a student, I also did tutoring for French and German. After graduating, I moved to Germany to work as an in-house translator. After a few years, I started teaching part-time too. I taught English and Irish Gaelic in an adult education centre called Volkshochschule in Heidelberg. I also designed and taught business English at the software company I worked for. In 2007 I returned to university to study education, specialising in French and German. During the course, I worked in an Irish high school teaching French and German. When I moved to the US in 2009 I taught English and Irish online and also tutored French and German.
