I enthusiastic, dynamic and quite the "Chatty Kathy." I love meeting new people. I love to travel, although the pandemic has put a spanner in the works with regards to that. I have a wide variety of interests which include, but are not limited to dancing, I partial to ballet and salsa at the moment. Music of many genres including classical, 80's and 90's pop and rock, soul and R&B and good old 70's rock. One of my favorite things to do is cooking. I love to think of myself as an under cover Master Chef. My favorites include, Greek, Italian and a local cuisine known as Cape Malay Style cooking. We use lot of aromatic spices and herbs, and not too much chilli.

I am a marketing, and training professional with more than 15 years experience in the financial service industry. In that time I did marketing and training presentations on an individual and group basis. The content of that training was both product, industry, legislation and tax related. Most of my attendees were not Native English speakers. In South Africa we have 11 official languages, however the language of business is always English. My preference is for one on one as I am able to tailor my teaching to each individual student's style of learning. Since 2018 I have been teaching English offline at both primary and High School Level. With these students I concentrated on grammar, comprehension, pronunciation and oral presentations. This is at Grade 1 and 7 level. I currently homeschool my son in the following subjects, Algebra, English Language Arts, Life Sciences, History and Geography.
