I am 37, married with a 7 year old son. I work [n the UK but report into the corporate headquarters in Switzerland. I have a GCSE in French from many years ago but remember very little. Moreover, the French I do remember I can hear in my head but when I come to speak them I whisper!?! It is a standing joke that my French is terrible and even the local taxi drivers attempt to give me French lessons when they pick me up to take me to the office! I am keen to be able to get over my fear of speaking French and be able to converse both socially and in a business environment.
