I was born in a small town called Linhai on the eastern coast of China. I like travelling, hiking and philosophy. I have been travelling as a hitchhiker & backpacker across China, North America, South Korea, UK, Australia, New Zealand and Singapore... I was fascinating with the cultures and languages that were spread out around the world. I studied Physics and Education and started off my teaching career as a science teacher. I found myself were fascinated with language teaching, I then studied Chinese as a second language teaching. And have been a Mandarin teacher since then. I studied Teaching Chinese as a Second Language (TCSL) and received the Certificate for Teachers of Chinese to Speakers of Other Language from Confucius Institute Headquarters and Certificate of Accreditation in Teaching Chinese as a Second Language from The International Society of Chinese Language Pedagogy.

I am a native speaker of Mandarin. I have been teaching Mandarin Chinese as a foreign language for more than 7 years online and offline, specialising in Beginners Course, Business Chinese and HSK Course. I have taught Mandarin to young professionals, CEOs in Shanghai and Sydney. I helped my students learn about language, culture and business in China. Being a Mandarin teacher also gave me great opportunities to learn about different cultures and languages. I am specialised in developing the course from multimedia materials to make the learning interesting.
