I am from Colombia, South America. I was born in Medellín, a beautiful city in the state of Antioquia. I lived there for 20 years and then I moved to Barranquilla (a Colombian city) and lived there for another 13 years. I learned a lot of the Caribbean culture living in Barranquilla. I lived in my country for a total of 33 years and in 2012 I moved to the USA to do my Master's and Ph.D. studies in Spanish and Literature in Spanish. I enjoy engaging in conversations since they allow me to share my knowledge and gain different perspectives on a myriad of topics. I have taught fully online, hybrid, and in-person courses on Spanish language (from elementary to advanced conversation and composition as well as Spanish for the Professions) for 8 years for Florida International University and Arizona State University.
