I see myself as a hardworking professional, with a straightforward type of personality. "What you see is what you get" could be a couple of words that best describe me. I always make a lot of time to do my work well, but I also enjoy spending time on my family and hobbies. As a teacher I work with a student-centered approach. I always adapt my lessons to the needs of the student(s). I like to treat all my customers (including students) as clients.

I have several years of teaching experience on a university level and as EFL/ESL teacher. I spent a lot of time in South-America teaching both young and adult learners of the English language. In Europe I have spent the last 5 years working as a university professor. I have gained a lot of relevant experience working with different types of students as well as with different age groups. Furthermore I acquired experience teaching my own native language (Dutch) and also Spanish. The main goal of all my classes is for the student's need to be fulfilled. I try to adapt my materials and lesson-plans according to the specific and individual needs of my students. I can say that this approach has been very well received by almost all my students so far.
