CONVERSATIONS-UNIT6-HABITS-P16-18. We discussed your daily routine and habits and read also some proverbs which we will discuss next time. Errors are mostly on grammar:sleep (slept), I come up at 6:oo (get up), I go to work or come to work (if you are already at work) if you means (f you mean). Finding the right word and tenses are the most challenging issues.

CONVERSATIONS: UNIT5 P15 We continued on the topic of Food today as well. Some errors were: it's very few meat (very little because it is an uncountable noun), some typicals desserts (typical desserts) she is particularly chef (she is a particular chef). New words: intestines, and calorie intake. Next time we will move on to unit6 (p17)

CONVERSATIONS: P15 We continued on the topic of food. Some new words and phrases: hack, deer, clutter, fattening, fun (have a good time), funny (make me laugh), I am not used to drinking alcohol when I have to drive. Today you were more careful about not making mistakes and monitored yourself! Nicely done.

CONVERSATIONS: UNIT5 P14-FOOD AND DRINK. Paolo, we covered again a lot of topics moving from one to another with great ease and constantly providing details. Some errors eg: schematic which was used out of context for set a table, I am drink (I drink), little (uncountable nouns) vs few(countable nouns), 2 years ago I started eating greek yogurt.

CONVERSATIONS UNIT4-FAMILIES. Our discussion focused again on families. Your greatest challenge Paolo is finding the right word to express your thoughts. Some errors were: investigation (medical examination), scope (function), environment (context), Some new words expressions: torn ligament, a broken bone, flood, and monuments.

CONVERSATIONS: UNIT3 P9+CHRISTMAS. We continued on the topic of celebrations and home/childhood memories. Paolo, we need to start working on grammar too. Some errors: (a) few is used for countable nouns (eg friends, books), (a) little for uncountable nouns (eg money, time). When you describe events that happened in the past you need to use the simple past tense. Also, there were issues with words order and syntax.

CONVERSATIONS: UNIT3-BEING HOME-P8. Conversations with you Paolo are always flowing but there were some errors: I hadn't have this problems (I haven't had this problem), I thinked (I thought), since 10 years (for10 years), more close (closer),before to buy the new one (before I bought the new one), put away walls (knocked down walls) put away=store, I haven't pets (I haven't got or don't have).

The 3-star rating is for the quality of this lesson NOT Paolo's performance. Bad audio with delays and robotic-metal effect on both our voices. We finally resolved the issue 15 minutes prior to our lesson's end. Paolo is interested on CONVERSATION, so from now on, I will be using the Conversations material.
