Thanks for your contributions today Davide, you displayed a strong understanding of the grammar we looked at and communicated very effectively. This time we reviewed the present simple and continuous, as well as the present simple passive. We also distinguished between action and non-action/state verbs. You had no problems with the text we read, easily matching the questions and answers before giving some examples of your habits using time phrases to express frequency. Finally, you described the clothes and actions of various people in a picture of an office, using the present continuous with great accuracy, well done!

Great work in our last lesson Davide, you spoke with confidence and had no difficulties with the exercises we tried. This time we studied how to figure out the meaning of words based on the context they appear in. We also practised distinguishing between different vowel sounds and word stress. After that, we studied some common collocations and suffixes, before finally practising some everyday English used in different places around town. See you next time!

Great effort in our last lesson Davide, it was nice to talk to you again. This time we reviewed how to give short answers to questions with auxiliary verbs and corrected a few common mistakes. After that, we listened to a recording about a multilingual family before discussing the pros and cons of being brought up in a different country. Your listening comprehension was very strong, as was your understanding of the grammar and your ability to self-correct, well done!

Fantastic lesson, Davide! During our lesson we talked about business games, food poisoning, academic degrees, catering services, weekend plans, pensions and ageing populations, then we reviewed the uses of several prepositions. Well done today, very impressive!
