I really enjoyed our discussion today, Ikuko. You explained some of the old traditions and cultural aspects of Japan which really fascinated me. You spoke quite vividly and reminded me of my life in Japan. This was a good practice for you to get you ready for the day!

I was glad to have you in class twice today, Ikuko. In the second part of our classes today, we discussed the complex issues surrounding the olympics and how Japan is going to deal with that. We also answered two questions related to our first topic on working with teams. You made some very insightful points which I saved and have forwarded to you. We covered GBC C1 Unit 2 page 12 For extra practice, I have attached page 14 with a few more questions to try.

Great discussion today, Ikuko. Our first topic was related to the direction of your career and your ideas on management. You shared your opinions clearly and I think you've made some good progress in using the vocabulary we've been practicing.

That was a very interesting topic today, Ikuko. We discussed intuition and how we often rely on it without really knowing it. I appreciated your explanation of the two kinds of intuition in Japan as well. In our book, we finished unit 1 and we're ready to start on unit 2. We covered GBC C1 Unit 1 For extra practice, please do the workbook exercises for unit 1
