GBC B1 Unit 10 to page 12. In this lesson, we started by spending time on pronunciation. When speaking slowly and carefully, you are able to produce the "l" sound well. If you have time, practice the rhyme as it will help you to produce the "l" sound a lot easier.

GBC B1 Unit 10 to page 8. In this lesson, we ranked phrases in order from most positive to most negative. You used the phrases successfully in speaking and you introduced your own phrases too. You are able to express yourself better at the end of the lesson compared with the beginning of the lesson.

GBC B1 Unit 9 (Business Trips) to page 11. Our lesson started with a Warm Up page which allowed us to discuss business trips and visitors to the workplace. We looked at the phrase "it's about time" and successfully used it in a number of situations. Today's vocabulary was related to events. Thank you for asking questions for clarity.

GBC B1 Unit 7 (The News) complete. In this lesson, we looked at interesting phrases that can be used at the beginning of sentences. We then focused on the word "although" and explored how it can be used to show a contrast between two things. You answered the homework questions well and your speaking improved throughout the lesson.

GBC B1 Unit 7 (The News) to page 10. In this lesson, the GBC tip was Timely Responses. We also spoke about the format of GBC answers. Try to spend some time reading aloud as we discussed. It was good to see that you were more relaxed today.
