Very good. He told me that last time he couldn't engage in the class because his computer wasn't working right-- please excuse him for that. This time he could and did very well describing things without using "taboo" words. Also answered questions.

Very good lesson. Shenyang did a great job learning "due to", talking about news sources, and vocabulary. We covered those in the unit on News Media.

Very good. Shengyang continues to express himself well, with good pronunciation. I corrected some minor mistakes and taught him some new vocabulary. We finished the unit on New business, did two sample questions, and started the unit on Media (U12)

Great! I met Shengyang for the first time-- He is very articulate and engaged in learning, and speaks well. We did introductions and continued the unit on New Businesses-answering business questions; business vocabulary (related to start-ups); questions about start-ups in Japan.
