Today you learned a lot you can use in daily life situations. You learned about family members, how to describe people and yourself and you managed to give a really good description of yourself and your family. Really well done. You can use this in daily life situations/meetings.
We will continue practicing tomorrow.

Today we started chapter 2. You already looked at the vocabulary, so you had no trouble understanding the text. We went straight to opdracht 1, where you needed to answer questions about the text. You wrote down the answers, and learned how to create the right order of the sentence. This is not always the same as in English. You did great, and learned a lot. You told me you would practice this, and that will help you also in conversations.

Nice to meet you again, and to notice your progress. We continued where you left off, and repeated the combined letters and long/short sounds. We will keep on working on the right pronunciations during the lessons.
We went through the greetings, and I told you about the difference between tot ziens en tot straks/tot later.
And you practiced the technique to use accents in words, to be extra clear. The difference between u en jij is pretty clear for you, well done. We will start tomorrow with chapter 2. There you will learn about having a conversation and telling about yourself and your family.
