We started out with a nice conversation, afterwards we considered a text from the book. You read very well and you were able to understand the new vocabulary very quickly. We talked about the colors. You were very creative in finding the object. Also with the clothes you were very creative. And as always were you eager to learn and fun to have in the class. See you next time

Again we had a meaningful lesson, where you really showed how you improved your Dutch. Next time we will finish chapter 6 and start with chapter 7.

Today we almost finished chapter 5. We spoke about cooking and different dishes. You did an excellent job in explaining about how you cook your favorite meal. There were some words unknown to you. But it is good that we keep working on your vocabulary.

Today we finished chapter 4. We did some listening exercises. You did everything fine.We were able to distinguish the usage of the various sentences. After this we started with chapter 5. We had a nice conversation about the marketplace. Next time we will continue on his subject. See you next time.

Thank you for this class. We had a nice first lesson together. You showed that you already can speak some Dutch. Due to your German background you can understand many words and sentences very quickly. We will therefore focus on your pronunciation and sentence building. I am looking forward to our next lesson.

Today we started with the audio from chapter 3. That went really well, only one sentence we looked a bit closer to.
The questions were easy for you.We looked at different ways to order, to pay and to thank the waiter. The fill out exercise went great, and was a good way of repeating what we have done today. You got some pointers when to use which articles, that was useful. And intuitive you knew most of the articles from the exercise.

Today we have done a lot. Your homework assignment was perfectly done. Try to use them in daily life conversations.
You learned about the personal pronomen, that went really in the exercise. Then we practiced the clock, the days of the week, months and seasons, prepositions time related and you practiced the long-short sounds a-aa.
The audio from chapter 2 went great, you understood everything. Next week we will start chapter 3.

Today you noticed that the level is slowly going upwards. You understood the audio very well and had no trouble answering the questions. The structure of writing down a sentence is really good, you need to learn new words and how you write them.
We looked at the structure of a sentence when you include time, and you described verbally two families. That went great.
The last grammar from today was the technique of asking questions. The closed structure is easy and the open structure with 'vraagwoordvragen' was good to practice.

Vandaag zijn we met het alfabet en de gecombineerde klanken begonnen. Het is heel belangrijk deze goed uit te spreken, dan spreek je nieuwe woorden ook goed uit.
In het boek hebben we hoofdstuk 1 helemaal gedaan. Er was niet veel nieuwe grammatica in het hoofdstuk, volgende week zul je handige grammatica leren. Blijven lezen en vertalen is heel goed, dan wordt je woordenschat groter.
