Excellent participation Filippo! You completed the exercises with accuracy and fluency, and asked good questions so you could understand the language studied. It was good that you could read and see the pictures after your eye examination! We looked at CAN for ability, permission and possibility today.

Great meeting Filippo! We practised using the present simple and continuous and you worked hard to use it correctly. You were able to follow the audio and complete the exercises, as well as discuss some of your plans for tonight and tomorrow using the ING verbs, well done!

Great work Filippo! We reviewed ways of making appointments using dates days and times, and also talked about duration of meetings. YOu were very fluent with this exercise. Then we focused on the present simple v present continuous, looking at actions taking place now compared with things we do often or regularly. You made excellent efforts to practise English with accuracy and fluency, well done.

You are making good progress Filippo, and your dedication to learning English is excellent. You ask pertinent questions which clarify meanings and you make a lot of effort to understand all the listening and reading challenges. Today we focused on people in companies, their job responsibilities, and the qualities we can find in various colleagues.

Nice to meet you Filippo! We have a lot in common and you spoke fluently to tell me about your job, as well as your and your sister's experiences in New Zealand. We focused on lesson material for introductions and meeting people. You understood the listening exercise well. And you learned a few idiomatic expressions used in typical business contexts.

Please complete slides 10-12 from BE/A2/Unit1 before your next class.
