BE, B2, Unit 4 (New Ideas) to slide 5. Today we spoke about inventions and innovations, learned some expressions, watched a video, and practised presenting innovative ideas. Corinne, you did a great job and used the new vocabulary to speak about innovative products, keep up the good work!

It was a pleasure to meet you today, Corinne. We listened to a project update meeting related to problems with the launch of a new mobile phone. Of particular interest here was the language used to make suggestions and respond. You did well with the comprehension exercises.

Today we worked on the vocabulary from the text and you matched phrases to do with projects. We talked about the need for upfront planning, and what to do in case you fall behind schedule. If you have time, complete the exercises that are attached, so you can use them in the speaking tasks next time.
