It was so great seeing you today Emanuela! We had a conversation class about family ties as well as practice accent reduction. You made some improvement with pronouncing the 'th' sound, but you need to practice speaking faster with the 'th' words, thinks, thought, Thursday. We had a wonderful review of your classes where you worked on describing the progression of your life and how your life changed with getting married and having children. I thought you were really able to describe how there was so much happening all at the same time. We also had a few corrections during class. Please consider the video that I've linked video below and please study the vocabulary below the video.

You did a great job Emanuela in the way you described weekend activities. You spoke about canoeing as well as taking your family to an air force festival. We also spoke about current events and history in regards to the life of Berlusconi and his death. I'm including a video link for your consideration. It was so nice seeing you today! We spoke about a number of topics as well as how your parents met. We spoke about how age is important in certain cultures. You had some issues with vocabulary with family members, eg; brother-in-law (not brothers-in-law, unless you are speaking about more than one). I've enclosed an article for your consideration about age in Italy.

We had a in-depth conversation about oppressive governments, and your own description as to Italian history and how it's affecting your country today with current politicians. I thought you gave good examples when referencing a letter that was copied by a former dictator. We also described how important hope is with each individual.

You are making great improvement with your conversational skills, especially when speaking about how parents can teach their children to have good behavior to make their life successful. We also spoke about how some famous world leaders started off well in life but became corrupt and dangerous when they had power in governmental positions. We will continue our lesson from where we left off.
